As part of Activity 1.2, CONNECT uses regional focus groups to validate, refine and compare the initial findings from the ecosystem mapping.

As the project moves further into this activity, LEMEX bringing regional stakeholders together in focus groups to discuss and refine the initial local research findings.

These exchanges build directly on the regional ecosystem mapping, which identifies relevant stakeholders, support structures, existing policies, and the barriers faced by migrant entrepreneurs.

The focus groups provide an opportunity to verify the accuracy of the mapping results and to gain further insights from local stakeholders.

By involving stakeholders in this validation process, CONNECT strengthens the quality and practical relevance of the research findings. The discussions also help to identify common challenges, regional differences, promising practices, and opportunities for stronger cooperation across North-West Europe.

These refined local insights will inform the comparative analysis between the partner regions, supporting a shared understanding of how migrant entrepreneurship ecosystems currently function. The results of this process will provide important evidence for the next project steps, particularly for the co-development of the Joint Strategy.

Through the regional focus groups, CONNECT ensures that its strategy development is research-based and shaped by the experience and knowledge of individuals working within local and regional ecosystems.
